Privacy Policy

How OptionTerminal handles local preferences, technical request data, market-data requests, and support communications.

Information stored in your browser

OptionTerminal uses browser local storage for preferences such as the selected market, chart settings, and whether onboarding has already been shown. This information stays in your browser unless you clear it.

Technical request information

The hosting platform and market-data providers may process normal technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested URLs, error logs, and security signals. OptionTerminal does not need a trading account login from visitors to display its public charts.

Market-data credentials

Provider access credentials used by the website are stored as server environment variables. They are not intentionally sent to the visitor's browser or included in public page source.

Support communications

When you contact OptionTerminal, the information you voluntarily provide may be retained long enough to investigate the request, respond, protect the service, and maintain an issue history. Do not send passwords, API tokens, broker credentials, or unnecessary financial information.

Third-party services

OptionTerminal relies on hosting, exchange, broker-data, and chart-library services. Those services process data under their own privacy terms. Links to third-party websites are not controlled by OptionTerminal.

Changes and questions

The policy may be updated as the website adds accounts, analytics, advertising, or new providers. Material changes should be reflected on this page.
